On February 20, 2025 , Palma hosted the presentation of Spain’s first Dual Vocational Training (FP Dual) in Hotel Circularity , a pioneering educational program designed to reinforce the tourism sector’s commitment to sustainability and circular economy principles. Biolinea , in collaboration with Hotecma, the ASIMA Foundation, and the Mallorca Hotel Business Federation (FEHM) , played a crucial role in developing and executing this program, which aims to meet the growing demand for specialized technical professionals in hotel circularity. A Milestone in Specialized Sustainability Training The program, which launched its first edition with 19 students , combines theoretical and practical training to ensure an effective transition into the job market. The curriculum includes a Professional Certificate in Environmental Management (420 hours) and a specialized course in Circular Economy in the Hotel Sector (225 hours) , providing students with a comprehensive understanding of sustainable resource management in hotels and related industries.
